Our Story

Dermelle was built from a simple, frustrating observation.

Every year, millions of women deliver their babies by C-section and are sent home with discharge paperwork, a box of gauze, and very little else.

The surgery itself is managed with extraordinary precision. The scar it leaves behind is largely left to chance.

We knew the science existed. Silicone scar therapy has been clinically validated for over forty years. Plastic surgeons have been recommending it since 1980. The research is clear, the mechanism is understood, and the results are consistent.

What didn't exist was a product designed specifically for the C-section scar — the right size, the right silicone grade, the right design for the daily life of a new mother.

So we built one.
